You guys know how much I love these sidewalk scrawls. (Whenever I see this one I think it either says Rock or I Love Calvin Klein.)

Or I love Cookie Kravitz, or maybe Colonel Klink (for those of you old enough to remember Hogans Heroes). I see initials etched in trees and often try to think of the names they represent.
Cookie Kravitz is a terrific name! Who is he? I'm too young to have heard of him. Ha!
I first read "rock". I like the solid black square, the texture and boldness of this image.
More scrawls, portraits, and interesting good stuff. Thanks!
Cookie is just made up, but I thought it sounded funny. :)
that is one old message---some seriously old concrete, based on color and composition!
guessing it was I heart Cornelia Krumholz or Cassandra Krinkle or...humnn.
making me think of my grandparents and all the concrete they poured around their house eons ago that looked like this---and how my grandad left a heart in it.
I love Calvin Koolidge. But I never learned to spell.
I opt for Cookie Kravitz. I have a mental picture of Cookie. Or could it be Cindy Krockmeir? Cindy loved everybody. That's how she managed to be etched in stone.
I have a very modern take on this particular love note. My daycare is Celebration Kids, known in the community as CK. Thankfully everyone in my family loves CK and the balance it brings to our lives.
And I love Cevin Kostner. (I didn't learn to spell either.)
Cyrus Killjoy
And then there's (Louis) C.K.
Hmmmm....
