Faces (#5)

We should all be this happy when we're working.

This week, I present a series of street portraits. These are the faces of our community.

Are these the tri-tip guys?

Nice photo.

These guys are laughing like kids, and yesterday's kids are looking on like adults.

I love this series.

Now I want some tri-tip. Can you send me some?

Jon has an astute observation. It's wonderful to study these lovely faces and notice our own similarities. You have a way of capturing a kind of truth in your pictures. Thank you.

My friend who lives in Kansas City and grew up on a cattle ranch did not know what I meant when I said "tri-tip." She figured out that there's a different name for it in KC and maybe other places.

WV: sestuous... in or out?

I'd never had a tri tip until this year. It is the bottom point of a sirloin, so maybe they call it something else but on the cooking shows, they always call it that. The local stores have that name on the label as well.

YUM
