Oh, you know. Just an awesome car by a cool house. No big deal.

Must be South Pasadena. :O)

Well you did it again. I wonder if on some cosmic level, old cars just find their way there?? What style architecture is that? A mix of Spanish and something? My favorite part are the two glints of light bouncing of of the old bumper.

As my Dad used to say, "Chevrolet, Chevro Let, Shove her home and let her set".
Even so, he always drove Chevie's.

I'm glad you saw this nice '51 Chevy parked in the driveway last week, Laurie. I saw it last Wednesday and planned on letting you know about it, but forgot. Fortunately, your old-car-radar was working well.

Odd facade on that house. Wonder if it was added later.

Southern California has to be the old car mecca. I wonder if this one works in the movies.

Every time I think there are no brick houses in So. Calif., one turns up. This one does have Spanish arches and a blue senorita in the driveway.

AH--if it is the house I'm thinking of, the brick WAS added later to close in the porch as a "feature". A few houses, this abomination has happened.

And DJ---the house is not brick, lath with brick facade. In a good quake, those puppies would pop right off like automatic weapon-fire.

pretty Chevy, love the white walls.

Hey folks,

I have always found the bricks on this house to be a bit odd. The actual house is a Craftsman. (Modifying a Craftsman?!?! Surely there is a statute against it!) But now that I'm used to seeing it, I think it has its own charm. I just love the way the colors came together to make this shot -- with that gorgeous old Chevy front and center. (DB, I saw it the other day, too, but I didn't have batteries for my camera! I was glad it was still there when I returned.)

And I shall return tomorrow. Here. Until then! Thanks everyone!

This house seems to have a yard sale every couple months. Same old stuff each time!
