Oooooh, I like this!

(Laurie: Did you get my email yesterday about the kids playing music near TJ's?)

Tried to comment earlier and blogspot was having error issues. I guess it's fixed now.

LOVE the high contrast and noir feeling. The angular lines are fab!!
In the Still of the Night came into my head the momeht I saw this.

I like this offbeat version by Kevin Kline and Ashley Judd.

I'm such a sucker for stark shadows and strong lines... this is a great photo.

Are you lurking around the neighborhoods and sneaking up on peoples' lawns?

Good girl.

I like the obscurity of it.

So well done. I just love that you left it mostly dark. Just perfect.

Thanks so much, you guys. You're lucky I don't make every shot a night shot -- night photography is my favorite.

As to the blogspot.com woes, I got email from people today complaining that they couldn't pull up the blog at all. Hmmmmm. First my AT&T voicemail gets wonky. Then my yahoo email won't deliver messages. Now blogger is acting up. Don't tell me I'm going to go back to the darkroom, a land line and a typewriter!!!

I appreciate all the kind words, everyone. You guys are awesome.

Until tomorrow.

I tried to call your cell yesterday to tell you about the kids playing music, but all I got was a ring, no message.

I just spent last night and all day today trying to get my internet connected again...after paying a fortune to my computer guy to hook us up right...a power surge last night apparently knocked the ip address out of the modem...or so the ATT guy said...

Love the pic Laurie...very noir!!!

Maybe all this explains why I had to cycle my modem three times yesterday and already once today.
