I love it when you wax quantum. Great shot and great essay.
Ditto, ditto, ditto!!! I love this shot...and your essay described in essence how I react to crowds sometimes...
I'll look at individual people in the crowd and think to myself..."I wonder what their life is like? Who do they live with, who do they love, what kind of work do they do...etc, etc..."
Then, sometimes when I'm driving through traffic and see kids that look like gang bangers or scruffy people who look like they've seen life on the down side, I think about the fact that all of us participate in some of the basic things in life...the gang banger goes to the grocery store, follows the traffic laws (for the most part!) and participates in much of "normal" society...
