Tidings of Great Joy

Then wherefore in these merry days
Should we, I pray, be duller?
No, let us sing some roundelays
To make our mirth the fuller.
And whilst we thus inspired sing,
Let all the streets with echoes ring;
Woods, and hills, and everything
Bear witness we are merry.

A beautiful capture of that magic! And you somehow got a star ahead.

The street does look like it is celebrating the merry season, too! Super poem to go with the street.

This looks like a scene out of "Fantasia." I expect the trees to start dancing any minute now.

Cool pic. The green lights kinda remind me of upside down legs :-)

Merry indeed. For a second they looked like a bunch of giant, green slinkys. It doesn't get any merrier than that.

I've gone up this street several times. Isn't it grand? I still need to make a run up to Hastings Ranch. If you haven't taken Little Bit go go go

Hey everybody,

Alex, this is on Diamond Avenue, just south of the library. It really is festive -- and one of the houses has gone completely insane with lights.

I hope everyone is ready for Christmas. I need to start wrapping presents...

Til tomorrow!

Is it the same people who go the whole 9 yards on Halloween? Went by Christmas Tree Lane and the Ballian House last night. There's a small house near a corner of a side street off of and west of Allen, much closer to the 210 that's like a mini Ballian house. They have almost as many lights pack into their little yard as the Ballian!

Laurie, your artistic vision is pure genius! Thank you for representing our town from its most beautiful angles. We love you. Your neighbors, Sean and Christine

Thanks, Sean and Christine!!!

Mister E, we're going to go see all the lights tonight. Can't wait.

Sorry for the delay in getting up the December 22 post. I rarely schedule posts to go up at a time other than when I'm writing them -- and I screwed it up. Oops!
