I heard the bells on Christmas Day...

...and wild and sweet
the words repeat
of peace on earth, good will to men.

Merry Christmas lovely friend. (I have a book for Raine, but we'll give it to her after she's tired of all her other presents.)

Peace to all and a very Merry Christmas.

WV: gazin - the look on the eyes of a child on Christmas morning after rounding the corner and seeing the Christmas tree after Santa's paid a visit.

Dear ones,

What a CHristmas! Little Bit was up and ready to open presents at 4:00AM... Jon and I had only gotten to bed (after the usual toy assembly) at 3:00. We tried to convince little Miss Wide Awake to at least wait until the sun came up!

THe day gave way to lots of fun with Jon's extended family -- I just wish my Texas clan could have been here, too.

I'm pooped, but happy. I hope all of you had a wonderful day. Love and peace to all of you!!!

I'm a little late post Christmas for a comment. But I must say that my Texas daughter, son-in-law and grandsons made my day. I too, wish it had included the Allees. Were it not for the telephone I would feel totally isolated from them. But I received a web cam for Christmas and upon its installation I hope to at least be able to see Laurie, Jon and Raine. Peace and joy for all in the coming year and may we continue to share our lives with one another. This has been a place to pause and reflect each day and enjoy Laurie's wonderful blog.

Oh, I wish you all could have been together, too. I love how you get together here on the blog (at least the girls!). I see Skype in your future.

Merry Christmas everyone!
