Artifact

The Citizens Bank building drive thru is a relic of the pre-ATM 1970s. (But isn't it a pretty study in light and shadow when captured late at night?)

I love your low perspective. It gives it an almost sneaky feel. Love the mix of lines. The light flares are like guiding stars. :~)

Everything you do is a pretty study in light and shadow! Was that the East-West Bank not long ago? That area is where they cook the pancakes and sausages for the Fourth of July breakfast!

I love the starry lights in your night shots... they make South Pas seem celestial!

The Queen of Darkness strikes again.

Bank drive-thrus aren't common here in the Great White North. I can only think of one in Vancouver.

Hi everyone,

Just an update: Gladys May Tepe's grandson left a comment on yesterday's post. Ms. Tepe will definitely see your messages of goodwill -- she can check via her cellphone. I LOVE the internet and how it can bring together people -- and generations -- in a few clicks!

Very cool.

I wonder whom we need to contact to put messages up on the Rialto marquee.

Fabulous epilogue to yesterday's story. Maybe we can take Ms. Tepe out for a glass of sherry after all!

I hope I'll be like Ms Tepe when I'm 100, using an internet-enabled phone. My mother, 20 years her junior, refuses to learn anything about the internet. Though I wonder what new technology I'll be using in 2050?
