Now you've got that song stuck in my head! Wait a minute, now Judy's version of Stormy Weather is taking over...

Babooshka, thanks! Most of my photographic inspiration comes from cinematography -- particularly of the 1930s and 40s. A lot of people put on music for background. I often put on classic films as visual background -- All About Eve or Grapes of Wrath or Casablanca or anything shot by ALton... you get the idea.

Here's wishing all my American loved ones a most happy Thanksgiving. (Pie! Where's the pie!?)

Until tomorrow...Laurie Alleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14460272282273523408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4926759868384604174.post-7244387691465122942008-11-27T01:28:00.000-08:002008-11-27T01:28:00.000-08:00The dark dark charcoal grays in our skies today (y...The dark dark charcoal grays in our skies today (yesterday, the midnight pie baker said) looked like art in the making.Patrizzi Intergarlicticahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16047084173908563600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4926759868384604174.post-32380626543603935302008-11-26T21:54:00.000-08:002008-11-26T21:54:00.000-08:00I had a similar thought to Dixie Jane's - it looks...I had a similar thought to Dixie Jane's - it looks southern, and Texan is fine with me.Petrea Burchardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043950465171821852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4926759868384604174.post-54955093375521913712008-11-26T21:17:00.000-08:002008-11-26T21:17:00.000-08:00Rain is good ... for almost all.It makes tough dri...Rain is good ... for almost all.
It makes tough driving though up the 5 & 99.
