Dinner, laundry and grocery shopping. Did I mention it was my Laundromat. I almost called you to meet me there last Monday night

Senior Fish in downtown used to be the atomic cafe back in the day (closed in 85). Before Senor Fish, it was a Dominico's Pizza, and I can't recall what it was before that. There used to be a coffee and tea store next door. It finally gave way to the chain stores I suppose. Whenever I think of Launderland, I think of Springsteens Jungleland. But that's my problem. He had a partner named Roland. Gene would go by and empty the machines and there would be "a quarter for Gene, a quarter for Roland, and a quarter for the IRS."

Senor Fish is a good Mexican restaurant. I love old signs. I love old laundromats!

In fact, I've always wanted to do a bridal shoot in one. She'd have to be a pretty funky bride, but having a veiled beauty coming out of a commercial sized dryer, or wheeling down the aisle in a laundry cart just seems so fun - so much more so than a cheesy grin in front of a blooming bougainvillea.Judy Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05081035351814381283noreply@blogger.com
