Low Tech

Who needs a high definition flat screen when you can just sit along the Arroyo at sunset?

Beautiful sky! Nature's entertainment.

As a huge University of Texas fan, all I can say is that the burnt orange sunset is shrouding the hills in our colors!! There have been extra flights by Southwest, American Airlines and Jet Blue, just to get people to Pasadena for the National Championship game tonight.

You'll probably spot quite a few Longhorn fans spilling over into your quaint town.

Hook 'em Horns!!!

Those colors. Simply mesmerizing. Thanks for making my day as I gaze out on a cloudy, cold wind swept street and twigs covering the ground from nine oak trees. And to think that in about three hours I can fly from this to that. Of course we are not counting the three hours of being patted down and searched at the airport. But the bells I set off can't compare to the quiet sound of music played by nature's palette that awaits.

Laurie, did you take this yesterday? I was outside here on my hill and got some photos with those same colors.

Hiker let a comment on my blog saying that she had tried yesterday to photograph a blood red sky.

And Pas.Adj.directed me to a link in her comment section of a sunrise that she said looks like my sunsets.

Isn't this fun?

when looking at the photo full size, it has a grainy appearance that makes it seem almost like an oil painting. very nice! the colors are remarkable.

Laurie, magnificent photo. if i painted this (and these are my usual colors of choice) no one would believe I was trying to be realistic...anyway, thanks for the OK to use the "Fantasyland" photo. I appreciate it...and will keep you updated when i post the piece!!
