I've always loved being tall, though. Even though I towered over boys all through elementary school and junior high. In high school I still towered over them becasue I loved to wear heels. I'm sure this says something about me... hmmm.... :-)Laurie Alleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14460272282273523408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4926759868384604174.post-51738896420197160002010-02-26T12:17:01.193-08:002010-02-26T12:17:01.193-08:00Our Kasey girl has always been a head taller than ...Our Kasey girl has always been a head taller than her classmates...but she's also a big girl, not a string bean like Little Bit...the doctor told my step-son and daughter-in-law that she'll most likely be over 6 feet tall when she's grown...she comes from a long line of height starting with great gandpa who was 6'6" ....having always been at the back of the line with one other girl while growing up, I empathize with them both in their growth spurts and eventual circle of available boys!!!TheChieftesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00153059825142977202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4926759868384604174.post-5766910424179897522010-02-26T09:23:06.200-08:002010-02-26T09:23:06.200-08:00Chieftess, yes she's my long string bean! Little Bit absolutely ADORES her older cousin. Luckily, he humors her!

Yak, I know... my gazelle child. She's a full 5 inches taller than average for a 4 year old girl.

Jude, thanks for noticing the angles. That was what made me love this shot for reasons other than sentimental value! I got lucky.

Hiker, that's such an interesting perspective. I think it is always good to look at supposed bad luck as more of a detour on the road than a destination in itself. Who knows what you can find along a different route?

Pasadenapio, here here! Although, wait a minute I'm tied to my computer an awful lot... hmmmm....

Thanks for sharing, folks. Until tomorrow!Laurie Alleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14460272282273523408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4926759868384604174.post-86291953879721029142010-02-25T17:09:53.193-08:002010-02-25T17:09:53.193-08:00Love the concept of recess vs. the great recession...Love the concept of recess vs. the great recession!!!

Looks like a fun time was had by all!!!TheChieftesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00153059825142977202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4926759868384604174.post-48240964664593131662010-02-25T12:26:55.919-08:002010-02-25T12:26:55.919-08:00Love this photo! We have verticals, horizontals and of course, my fav- a diagonal. It's an invisible one that connects them not only in this shot, but on a much more symbolic level.
THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREEJudy Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05081035351814381283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4926759868384604174.post-15356595926182532722010-02-25T05:21:54.139-08:002010-02-25T05:21:54.139-08:00How sweet it is!
