I agree with Benjamin that it makes a connection that seems obvious in retrospect.

Mister Earl, I wish I'd seen your spot on Channel 9 news!

Yak -- Mr. Smith Goes to Washington... sigh... you know that is one of my all time favorites, right? (One of my fabulous readers knows where Capra lived around here -- help me out, in my foggy Mom brain -- because I can't recall if it was Alhambra or Pasadena...) This place is infused with the Capra vibe.

Miss H, my hubby would laugh. He is always trying to get me to sing Crazy Train.

Anonymous -- well now, let us know who you are and where we can find you!

Elaine, I see the faces, too. So I registered there and started a little daily photo blog - only yesterday. Funny, I Googled too, and didn't find you. I saw five or six floats up ahead (from Fiesta Floats in Duarte), headed for Orange Grove via Fair Oaks. I did some quick calculations and decided it would take around an hour to complete what should be a 10-minute trip. I park in the garage underneath the condos. I'm sure they found out about South Pas by reading Laurie's blog! I was interviewed by Channel 9 news at the Gold Line Station when gas prices were approaching $5 a month or two ago. A couple people came up and said they saw me on the news.
