Freeway Noir: 4

Nothing in this place was truly civilized.  Even the palm trees stood like wild sentries threatening to attack all who approached the concrete jungle.

Freeway Noir Week continues.  Share my shots taken while stuck in traffic on the 110.

You must've done the diagonal line just for me, right? That triangle of dark brooding sky is perfect for a Philip Marlow mystery. :)

Interesting shot. Could be read as either ominous or uplifting: depends on whether the darkness is seen as advancing or retreating.

Wonderful photographs and a super theme. I can see that things haven't changed much in the last 40 years as far as the traffic is concerned on the 110. Recognise a few of those buildings too.
