Now What Was I Saying?

This happy scene made me start singing Three Coins in the Fountain. Except I was singing it to the tune of Red Sails in the Sunset.

Next time I throw a coin, I'm wishing for a better memory.

Monet's Giverny came to mind immediately. How about a little La Vie En Rose to put us all in a French mood?

Nice shot. The referenced fountain in Rome. But nice song.

Hey, we can pretend this is the Trebi fountain, right? ;-)

I actually always think of that song when I see a fountain. Or a pond, for that matter. And I never get the tune right.

Oh, and Jude, merci!

Laurie, when are you going back to your Patch column? I was looking at your City of Trees again recently. I miss seeing you over there.

I'm laughing at Three Coins in the Fountain to Red Sails. Now you've got me doing it.

Where is this fountain, anyway? Some mansion on Buena Vista?

Ok. I see the Huntington tag now. Duh. Great shot.

Well, those tunes do have some similarities. This scene made me think of the fountain/pool in front of the Palais Du Luxembourg in Paris. All we need is a toy sail boat.
Thanks for stopping by my site today.
