My Kind of Garden...

Maybe it's just me, but I think this fabulous green machine is as pretty as a flower.

I think someone there has a thing for Barracudas!

At least I think it's a Barracuda.

I was thinking a Chrysler product too, Mr E, but I it might be a '66 Plymouth Valiant with the original decal that goes above the trunk lock removed.

I love everything about this. All of the flowers almost peering to see what's inside the car.

Time has been very kind to this car. Love the juxtaposition of car plus flowers.

Judy is right, Mr. Earl. It's a mid-60's Plymouth Valiant convertible. The Barracuda came out in about '66 and it was Chrysler's answer to the popular Ford Mustang. It was based on the Valiant - basically the same car with a fast back.

And check out the line of power poles on the left side of the photo. Two days in a row now Laurie has featured power poles.

Here's the link I found

FOR THE VALIANT

I'm sure there's been a repaint but I'd love to see it from the front and side. :)

Ahhhh...I can see it now! Laurie and Lil' Bit riding with the top down, hair blowing in the wind...oldies but goodies playing on the radio...vintage sunglasses and Laurie with bright red lipstick...
