Cookies Galore

The Allee holiday cookie tradition continues! Here is one batch of Christmas tree ornament sugar cookies. (Not shown is Little Bit's menorah cookie. She just had to eat that one. Also, the blue and purple abstract one in the upper right is supposed to be a Diwali elephant. Hey, we celebrate ALL winter festivities around here!)

Next into the oven? Gingerbread people. (And possibly a couple of gingerbread parrots as requested by Little Bit.)

So, what's everyone eating during the holiday season?

Very nice! When I opened the page, I thought I was looking at two huge cookies! I like all the little drawings. I only wish I could see the menorah one. But I'll take comfort in the fact that the San Francisco Giants have a special menorah on Facebook!

I'm happy to know that Little Bit included a Diwali elephant!

So far I've had rum cake, caramel Chex mix and peach cobbler. As much as I love the holidays, I'm not the big baker (although I do love cupcakes). I rely on friends and neighbors to keep me calorie rich in that department.

Happy Holidays everyone!!!

Talk about a dead ringer.

I'll send you a shot if we actually get around to it this year.
