Pale Horse (No Rider)

Every time I stop by San Pascual Stables I have to check on this horse. I have never seen him out running around. Instead, he is always in there, staring into the light like some kind of ghostly symbol of the captivity of modern life...

(Or maybe I just catch him at the wrong time of day.)

AWWWWW

I just love horses, but don't want to ride them as much as pet them. HA

I'm sending a wish for that apparition of a horse to go outside the stable and walk around. I'm hoping he's recuperating and that's the reason you don't see him out in the open, like the rest of the horses.

wv: exancyla

He's on the mend after a bad case of exancyla.

So Long, Stay Well

Little boy go ride the pale horse in the park
Count the golden butterflies and stay out till dark
Never mind the grownups who sing their old song
So long, stay well
Love was here, now it's gone

I hope this horse is not suffering from some equine version of a malady that humans have which keeps them withdrawn. It reminds me of a child looking out a window and wishing he could come out and play. He looks so sad.

That's so sad... I sincerely hope you just catch him at the wrong time, surely they wouldn't keep him/her locked up all the time! Or maybe he/she's sick & has to get better before they let the poor horse out?!

Now I want to go liberate that horse!

Like the other commenters have said, I hope this isn't as sad as it looks.

The horses in this funky barn are schoolhouses. That means they get ridden by students learning English. I can't really tell which white horse this is, but one of them in that barn is recovering from an eye infection and is rather grumpy.

May favorite horse in e barn is Matisse, an adorable pinto. He gets so excited whenever he sees me, like a little dog...he wiggles, flaps his ears and smiles.

San Pasqual Stables is an English riding and jumping school.

I just can't type a comment correctly to save my life.

Mr. Earl, I dare say I am unable to communicate properly this day. I must calm down and watch this video a few more times. It makes me feel victorious.
