Classic Ride

Cruise on over to my column at Patch. This week, I muse about South Pasadena's penchant for old cars, and the city's historical significance in Southern California's changing transportation landscape. Be sure to check out the video for a collection of gorgeous vintage automobiles. (It should post sometime before lunch today.)

What a classic. Don't you love the red orange hubs? Can't wait to read your article.

I loved your piece at Patch. By the way, what is going on over there? It is hard to find news since they started featuring so many blogs. It really seems like the site is moving away from actual news reporting. Also, I wish you were still doing a weekly article and video. I love your work.

Great stuff, Laurie.

Thank you, this was probably my favorite of all your Patch columns. It's a shame they're not having you do a weekly piece any longer.

Will you take over South Pasadena Patch? I don't know why they think it needs to be more like a social media outlet instead of the news it was supposed to be when the other editor was there. Your column is the only reason I go over there at all anymore.

Thanks so much, everyone.

I'm doing a column every two weeks, instead of every week. We've switched days around, coinciding with some design changes for the Patch website so it probably looked like I disappeared. If you ever need to find me on Patch and can't figure out the Patch site, just click on my big Patch logo to the right. It will go right to the page with all my columns, newest one on top.
