Musing at Kaldi

I have measured out my life with coffee spoons...

What struck me at first was the arched window mimicking the arch of the ATM machine. HA

This has an old time feel with the frayed caning on the back of the foreground chair, and the almost hazy feel of the light coming through the doorway. Very nice.

By the way, I like the blur in this. Blur is underrated and it really works to make this look old.

...and I'm finding my life is cheaper than the going rate for coffee (P. O. Elliot)

This is an odd shot. Did you use a filter?

A warm friendly picture and a good place to help measure out your life. If it weren't coffee spoons it would be something else. The very act of having coffee with somebody is in itself a good measure of your time. Coffee break: a short period for rest and refreshment.

i love Kaldi's! cannot beat their ambiance...but bummer that they no longer have a restroom that we can use due to the ADA compliance issues of the old building.
