Possibility

I love the old buildings on Fremont and I hate to see an empty storefront there. So let's do a twist on my favorite game -- and give me yet another chance to make you guys do all the work as I recover from this blasted cold:

If you were going to open a business in this spot, what would it be?

Tarot card reading and tax form preparation. Free coffee for all clients. Don't let the cat out.

Bike store. Because there's no way you can drive and park along Fremont in a car while Fair Oaks is up - it's being used as the alternate route. I take Monterey to Arroyo Boulevard - the path to freedom (TM) back to my urban homestead (TM))

My first thought was a hair salon but there aren't enough windows.

Oh, how about a yarn store? It probably sells all kinds and you can sit in the back and knit or crochet. Even though I don't do either, I really like the idea.

Oh, by the way, I LOVE the composition of this image. That cloud hovering over the top with that bright blue sky is just like icing on a cake. :)

Happy Saturday (pssst - get well, girl)

I can't believe Mr. Earl didn't come up with this being a campaign office for a City Council candidate.

Just got back from Hiker's post...I totally get Mr E!!!!

BTW...I forgot to mention how much I like this pic!!! The white cloud against that gorgeous blue sky...then the warm browns of the charming buildings...and the angle...all work together for a wonderful composition!!!
