Cheers

I did it again.

I went out and bought a nice bottle of champagne to toast the new year, came home, opened the wine fridge ... and realized I never had the bottle of champagne I bought last year. Or the one I bought the year before.

If I have one new year's resolution it's this: to make more time to open and drink nice bottles of champagne.

That's funny, but at least you have a wine fridge!

To Laurie, Jon, Raine, Judy, Dixie Jane, all my local blogger friends, all by distant blogger friends, all the regular and irregular commenters, and all the lurkers who never comment. Happy New Year!

Let's take a cup of kindness yet, for AULD LANG SYNE

This blog has become a refuge for many of us. A sounding board. A friendly pub on the corner!! To Kathy, Dan, Petrea, Hiker, Mr. E and so many more of you... Happy 2011!!

I say, "Ditto" to Mister Earl's comment. And like Judy said, Laurie's blog is like a pub on the corner! I know you all and have never seen you. I am so glad to have you as my friends and have you there to talk with. Happy New Year to each and everyone of you. Even the lurkers.

How nice that you have a wine cellar, Laurie. Sounds like you have some catching up to do. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you and yours

Hilarious!

At least you didn't buy the same label every year thinking, "I've got to try this one".

Happy New Year everyone.

I think I caught your cold

I feel bad for the Piper. It looks like the regulars are being a little standoffish to the new guy. I think it's time for a party to bring everyone together.

Isn't champagne good for colds?

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone is having a safe and happy new year's eve. I'm just trying to figure out which one of those bottles to open...

Good resolution, literally and figuratively.

Happy new year, everyone!

Laurie, we're the same, though our champagne has been provided by visitors. If they'd brought wine, we'd have drunk it. But champagne seems too good to open except on a very special occasion. And so it accumulates. Drink yours tonight, maybe even two bottles - one to celebrate the New year and the other to toast your award.

I'm late to the party...but thought of you all NY's eve and NY's day!!! Ditto to all the comments!!! Even the champagne!!! no wine fridge in this new house, so the champagne was taking up too much room...took a bottle as a hostess gift this season!!!
