Melancholy Kaldi

I hope you're not sick of these iPhone shots with my mono-plus-red filter. Something about a cloudy day and those red signs made me grab my camera, er, I mean my phone and try to capture a mood -- winter approaching, time passing, coffee cooling off, I don't know. At any rate, here's another one straight from the phone.

Love it. I think everything you described is exactly what I'm thinking. I'm having my first cup of coffee as I type.

I like your perspective. It has equal space to the ground, building and sky. That car to the left adds a nice grounding point. :)

Love the cracks in the crosswalk. Love this old bank building.

Beautifully done. Not tired of the filter.

I love your, "Black and white and red all over" shots. Never sick of them. Patchwork cracks are interesting. Looks like a November day with a little chill in the air.

I have an iPhone and I can't do with it the amazing photos you do. You're an artist with any camera.

What an interesting crossroads. Even though the lighting and the signs suggest one thing, I feel strangely compelled to do another. Anyone else more interested in the dark?

Btw, I'm not tired of the filter either.

So many restrictions in the photo! Cross here and here only. Do not enter. No left turn. The filter adds to the defeat. I think I need a nap. =)

WV: drammoro - indeed!
