Halloween is Coming

I don't know which is more scary: the fact that I will need about 25 bags of candy to handle the onslaught of trick or treaters, or the fact that I will have already eaten about 5 bags all by myself before the end of the month...

This is a perfect Halloween type image. We have hoards of kids too and almost every year, I run out and have to put a sign on my door "So sorry, ran out of candy." This would be cool in black and white too. :)

Have a great weekend.

I just hate when people start focusing on Halloween when it's not even Columbus Day yet! ;-)

Mr E...I heard "Santa Baby" playing while in a store just a couple of days ago...

At our Glendale house, we rarely got trick or treaters...up here...don't think we'll have many other than the last few bears getting ready to hibernate!!!

I like the way you've centered the tree. It looks like it is sprouting from what looks almost like a jack-o-lantern at the bottom.

It's tempting, but one must resist buying the candy until the last minute. It's the only way to keep from eating it.

Aw, at least you *get* trick-or-treaters! Up in the hills with the long dark windy streets and precipitous driveways, we never get a one. In my old neighborhood, we were besieged. I have fond memories of plundering the 99¢ store for sets of watercolor pens and giving each kid 3 or 4, since paranoia was so high about poisoned candy or razor blades or needles in treats.

I could see this photograph on a movie poster. Wonderful.
