Rorschach Walkway

Whenever I walk past this gate, I get distracted by that stone. It reminds me of something. Shakespeare's face? A map of Africa? What do you think?

Yesterday, Mr. Earl did a fine job of saying about the photo, EXACTLY what I would have said!!

I think the map of Africa is as good a description as any! HA

But the fence around it just seems odd. Broken concrete and bricks used as a mosaic walkway is a terrific way to recycle - just wish the fence color coordinated with them Since I can't see the house, all I'm thinking is "that fence color is wrong."

It looks like a fun pastel piece that a grade schooler would make. The blue might be a brain, or it could be a head with a face. If the face is on the left, it's a young woman. If the face is on the right, it could be George Washington on Thomas Jefferson. It's an eye catcher, that's for sure.

It looks like a piece of broken sidewalk surrounded by random bricks without any mortar. Sorry, the imagination isn't working for me today.

Many years ago I had to take a Rorsarch test for a job. I had been told that I shouldn't describe seeing anything that was either violent or sexual. When I looked at the ink blots, all I could see were bugs that were either fight or having sex. But, my imagination was working that day so I described all kinds of creative observations I'd made from the ink blots. Another candidate was sitting next to me and I noticed that he wasn't writing much of anything. Afterwords, he asked me what I saw. I told him all the BS answers I'd written about. Then I asked him what he saw. "I didn't see anything but a bunch of f...ing ink blots" he said.

I never saw him again. I got the job.

Hey Laurie!
LTNS

I like it. A yellow picket fence? it's just not expected as is that odd shaped paver.

What is LTNS, PA?

I kinda like this, too. It's weird and unexpected.
