The Chariot Awaits

Who says fairy tales don't come true? Sure, the house is right out of a storybook -- but the sweet ride parked out front really makes for a happily ever after. I wonder... does it belong to a handsome prince or to a bad-a** princess?

Prissy said, "I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' babies" and I know the same about cars. Judy, where are you? But I do know a storybook house with flowers when I see one. A bad a** princess is lucky to live here, with or without a prince to call upon her.

The house looks very English..... and I am still amazed about all the fantastic cars you have around your place!:) A nice shot..... You should take a picture of the owner(s).

Love the colors. I wonder who lives there.

Whoever it is, they are lucky. What a lovely home and lush yard. I have a special fondness for Tudor style and this one is very nice.

The roses are spectacular. It really does look like a fairy tale. That vintage Porsche doesn't hurt either. If this doesn't serve as an enticement for people to come to South Pasadena, then I don't know what does.

The entire scene is straight out of a fairytale! Gorgeous, Laurie!

That's a '63-65 Porsche, DJ. When I was in college, that was the ultimate car my friends and I lusted after. Now the hard decision, which is better, the car or the house? Sort of like the old Budweiser commercial with two guys playing pool. One asks the other, "Mary Ann or Ginger?" The other respons, "Mary Ann. Ginger was a bimbo." That will be meaningless unless you watched Gilligan's Island.

I saw a pristine '55 T-Bird parked in front of Briganti yesteday. I was going to call you Laurie, but figured with all your communications problems, I'd never get through. That, and I forgot by the time I got to a phone.

I had a comment at the ready then I read Dixie Jane's. Dixie Jane is one smart cookie. I concur! plus I love a blast of fist filled roses. Drought tolerant natives be damed!

The only thing that would make that porsche any better would be if it were a convertible!!! Charming house!!! Tea and crumpets anyone???

Maybe it belongs to the pool boy.
"Oh Pool Boy!"
Every Bad A** Princess has a pool boy in mind...

Thanks, everyone!

Brenda, I'm still laughing about the pool boy.

Until tomorrow...

Looks like England rather than SPas. James Bond could emerge at any moment and get into that car. Super fun to see this.
