Red Zone

Sylvia Plath saw it one way:

Out of the ash
I rise with my red hair
And I eat men like air.

Springsteen sees it like this.

My daughter calls it "mermaid hair" after Ariel's locks.

I just call it way cool.

Nicely spotted. I have a thing for people with red hair.

What a nice way to wake up - with Bruce's "eee he heee heeee" blasting out of the computer speakers

Yeah, this woman has fabulous hair. It takes a certain amount of self assurance to have such a shock of crimson atop your head.

As long as we are on the subject of red headed women, I must include this Famous Lucy Skit

I once wrote a song that began:

"She was a red-headed angel or so I thought

In time I learned that the color was bought"

Oh Mr. E. I'd love to hear that song! It could have a bluesy rhythm with some killer guitar chords!

It's a country song!

I wonder, do you think that's her natural hair color? Or is she Mr. Earl's red-headed angel?

"My old flame
I can't even think of her name
But it's funny now and then
How my thoughts go floating back again
To my old flame"......

I love that color. I've had that color. Do they still make Charm dye?

Mom tried to link this, so I'll do it for her. I laugh every time I hear it.

Reminds me of the time we used to dye our hair with Kool-aid. But we never had a shade of red as funky as hers :D
