Have a Nice Day!

There is nothing mellow about this yellow...

Have you ever seen a more cheerful car? I had to give it a close inspection to make sure I wasn't missing a happy face painted on the hood. There wasn't one, but the effect was just the same.

Now THIS is getting weird. Yesterday, the kitty shot and today a GTO. How did you know I looked at those guys online for an hour last night? I am beginning to appreciate the squarer models of the mid 60's. Mike just walked by and said "man, that is a beautiful car." I think this is a 67. I would own it in a heartbeat.

A classic GTO. We've already linked Ronnie and the Daytonas, and you said it's not mellow, so Donovan's out. Good shot for a Monday!

I can hear "Go Granny, Go Granny, go Granny go" playing. Was that the Beach Boys?? I am so there!

Even the architecture seems to fit the car.

Brenda: That is Little Old Lady from Pasadena by Jan and Dean. She drove a brand new shiny red super stock Dodge.

Barbara: Sunshine Superman, one of my favorites.

How about this one:

gessh. Ilove this shot, It is so California to me. The blue, the tall spindly palms, the muscle car. The ranch house surrounded by thick foliage. Hello 1978!

Oh, yeah, baby. And I have to thank you for the song, Barbara. I needed a new one in my head and that's a good one.

Judy, I knew you'd like this one! Remember your yellow cutlass?

Ken, you post from yesterday was so quintessentially NYC for me, so it's cool to return the favor!

Thanks for all the song mentions.

Oh, and Hiker -- you're the coolest. LYLAS!
