Elf Noir

My daughter had her own ideas about the tiny car in front of us on the road the other night.

"I think that little car belongs to one of Santa's elves," she said, "and the elf escaped from Santa's workshop and is running away in the night time because he doesn't want to have to do so much work making all those toys."

Ah, Christmas.

What an imagination! Does she already know work can be overwhelming?? Thanks for sharing thru the eyes of a child.

What a perfect segway for her "elf present" that is on the way!!!

You + the night + your camera = DIVINE.

An escaped elf on the loose in an elf car? Where was the SPPD? Or were you just tracking him until the SPPD arrived?

Here's one of my favorite Christmas songs:

Looks like a GEM electric car. It's re-assuring to see S. Claus INC. is reducing it's carbon footprint. Although they were always pretty green on the transportation end of things.

OK, the car IS the elf... look at that face with the glowing eyes!

I love all the little twinkle stars that are chasing the elf car!

As for Little Bit's imagination... her next request will be for an elf car for Daddy, so he can run away with her and not work so hard!

I have my own ideas about this post.
I think it's the old story of like like mother, like daughter.

I wouldn't mess with the two glowing heads inside.
