STREET OF DREAMS

Love laughs at a king
Kings don't mean a thing
On the street of dreams

Dreams broken in two
Can be made like new
On the street of dreams

Gold, silver and gold
All you can hold
Is in the moonbeam

Poor, no one is poor
'Long as love is sure
On the street of dreams

Well, Mom kind of blew anything I'd say right out of the water. I forgot how much I loved THAT SONG.

Cafe Observer was familiar with yellow snow, but had never seen yellow asphalt.

I really love the colors in this new abstract painting Pierre! My, my what brush work and composition.
What was your inspiration for this painting? Was it when you woke up that morning flat on your face? O Pierre, you must stay away from ze vine, no?

You're right Double D. To get this picture, Laurie must have been lying smack dab in the street.

Santa has gone to a new system of identifying houses by a complex color-coding process that allows him to tell how many children and of what gender live there. As yet, the color codes are a deep secret.

Piet Mondrian's house. The entire photo is a Mondrian, with its many horizontal, and a few vertical, swath's of color.

Everyone's really funny today! (As per usual.) But I have to say the family creation here can't be topped: Laurie's visuals, Dixie Jane's lyrics and Judy's background music. What a combo!

Laurie and Judy took their sisterly fight out to the street, even painting a line down the curb to determine which side each of them could stay on...thankfully, it washed off the grass before this picture could be taken!

To escape the heat the sunny yellow line slowly crept from the middle of the cruel asphalt street toward the welcoming shade of the park.

Did it make it? Tune in tomorrow for the further adventures of the sunny yellow line.
