Too funny. I had to click on the photo in the portal. Couldn't work out what was going on. Still can't but presumably chucked out chairs that have seen a lot of life.

Charles' and Nora's decorator, Andre was so fed up with their indecision on new upholstery fabrics for their side chairs, that he had a complete melt down and just threw them out into the street.

Judy's take is perfect. I can't come close to that one. You find the greatest stuff L!

Funny commentary, Laurie!
But I sure hope someone dragged them back onto the sidewalk. That's an accident waiting to happen.

They look drunk.

It would be tempting to pull 'em to the sidewalk and sit in one. Is there going to be a parade to watch? If so, I want the best seat! Your photos are always a hoot.

During their move, Tom had insisted that it wasn't necessary to tie down his wife's favorite blue chairs in the back of their pickup.

I'd like to follow upon Yak's caption.

Tom may have gotten his new jumbo LaZBoy out of the stunt, but he had to sleep in it for almost a month afterwards.

looks like Tom took that corner just a LITTLE too fast!

and oh no..."we" couldn't leave those chairs out until the Parade...that would be "unsightly"!

Yay! I got a "Caption this Picture" out of this post! I love all of your comments today, everyone. Isn't this a bizarre shot?

Til tomorrow...

THis made me smile! What had happened to them? A domestic fight with them being the victims? ;)
