When Jack planted the beans in his yard, he realized overnight that law school was out of the question.

1) Shaken but not unnerved.

2) House for the modern-day Heathcliff. Hush, is that Cathy at the window?

3) House for sale: well-stocked root cellar.

Oooh, it's that monster tree again. I just love it! You should have posted this for Halloween, Laurie!

The tree that strangled the house!

My beautiful limbs invite you to stop and stare and enjoy the wonder of a tree like me. As you stand mesmerized, one of my root snakes wrap silently around your ankles, then suddenly you are gone. A faint scream is heard from somewhere in the lush foliage then silence. Shhhh, here comes another victim.

A symbiotic relationship. The tree loves the house, the house loves the tree. I see you rollin' your eyes...

These are great, people. And Hilda -- this is a DIFFERENT house and tree than the one I posted a few months ago.

We love our trees in South Pas...

Yak, I'm cracking up at Jack and law school.

The Bartons wanted to be good neighbors, but since the cat next door started marking territory in their yard, they couldn't keep up with the gardening.

Tree says: I was here first, how can you drop a house in my territory?

House: Okay, you can stay, but leave your trunk outside.

Tree: Thanks, I'll provide leafy shade and joyfully rustle in the breeze.

House: Nice of you to go out on a limb for me.
