Settings: Part 10

Isn't this a great sign? I noticed it about a month ago when I walked across the baseball field at Orange Grove Park. Apparently the local Lucks are big supporters of South Pas little league. (Talk about a home field advantage!)

Which reminds me of one of my favorite games. Lets shake things up a bit this time: instead of a setting, if this were the TITLE of a movie, what would it be about? Go ahead, my ever-creative readers. Knock one out of the park...

The movie "The Luck Family" would be based on the Book of Job.

I guess everyone saw that ball go over the fence.

I imagine an Asian family, along the lines of the Amy Tan characters...facing all sorts of challenges, and with each challenge, a member of the family experiences "luck" in solving the challenge!

A little too obvious??? Hey...it's early...and I haven't had any coffee...

A child from the adjacents, denied access to the South Pasadena skate park, returns in the night armed with paint and changes an L to a F. It wasn't my kid.

GREAT ONE !!! pasadjacent. I can hear the South Pas residents:
"Oh my. Someone from the wrong side of the arroyo, no doubt."

I'm so laughing at PA's comment.
No good ideas on a script, but imagine being a kid from that family - you'd always have to live up to the name.

Thanks for playing, kids! I'm cracking up at PA's scenario. Good one...

Until tomorrow, everyone.
