"DON'T FENCE ME IN"

Oh give me land lots of land under starry skies above don't fence me in
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love don't fence me in
Let me be by myself in the evening breeze
Listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me out forever but I ask you please don't fence me in
Just turn me loose let me straddle my old saddle underneath the western skies
On my cayuse let me wander over yonder till I see the mountains rise
I want to ride to the ridge where the west commences
Gaze at the moon until I lose my senses
Can't look at hobbles and I can't stand fences don't fence me in

The Vigilant Buddha, as opposed to the Vigilante Buddha.

All Knowing; All Seeing; Protector of the Universe; and this small hillside backyard.

Buddha's Dog Run has my vote but there were so many great ones I can't even name 'em. You guys are so creative. I guess it's a California thing.

Well, well well... aren't you folks the most clever of clever?! I love all of these. And I have to say, Free Range Buddhas need to be protected. (And I want to hear the Buddhist version of Home on the Range.)("Where seldom we laugh, on this cool eightfold path...")

There is no way I can top any of these so I'm just going to say namaste...

Until tomorrow!
